Explorer Notes are collectible items spread across all of the story maps in ARK: Survival Evolved. The notes can be found on The Island, Scorched Earth, Aberration, Extinction, Genesis: Part 1 and Genesis: Part 2.
Earth holds both the secrets of the past and the keys to its salvation. The Corrupted Earth Map This map, set on Ravaged Earth rather than an ARK up in space, forces players to survive an Earth unfamiliar to us: one of strange features and stranger creatures.
You'll have killed a good few dinos getting to the city and setting up so they should be around 210 by then, look up the extinction xp notes map and use them in the city. You can find a bunch in one group under the city in the center (about 55,55) and then a bunch in a line (4x ones) leaving the east end of the city.
