On Tuesday, May 6th, 2024, His Holiness Catholicos Aram I received the representatives from the three Lebanese Armenian Political Parties: Vanig Dakessian (the Social Democrat Hunchakian Party), Hagop Pakradouni (the Armenian Revolutionary Federation), and Dr. Avedis Dakessian (The Armenian Democratic Liberal Party).

The Armenian Catholicosate of Cilicia is rightly described as a dynamic and committed witness to the Gospel. This witness has incorporated various dimensions and domains of the life of the Armenian Church and people. It is important to identify some of the major ones.
In order to fulfill the great task now entrusted to the Armenian Catholicosate of Cilicia in the Armenian Diaspora, Catholicos Sahak II, already advanced in age, asked the help of Archbishop Papken Gulesserian, who was enthroned as Coadjutor-Catholicos in 1931.
