5 Νοε 2019 · The Army has permanently broadened one-station unit training for infantry Soldiers from 14 to 22 weeks, with more combat arms career fields expected to follow the charge.
The 1/329th Infantry Regiment, with its long history from many men and battles from 4 different conflicts, now its colors will proudly be flown in efforts with another conflict.
Phases of Infantry OSUT: Red Phase: Weeks 1-3. Consists of an environment of total control, where active, involved, and positive leaders begin transforming volunteers into Soldiers through the Soldierization process. Training is focused on Physical Fitness, the Army's Values and traditions, and Warrior Ethos. White Phase: Weeks 4-6.

Think for a min, doing your run, situps and pushups at home then having to drop for pushups like once an hour. Then having to do obstacle courses, close combat drills and the like.
