The Combat Service Identification Badge (CSIB) is a metallic heraldic device worn on the right side of the United States Army's Army Service Uniform that uniquely identifies a soldier's combat service with major U.S. Army formations.
All Soldiers are required to wear an AGSU. The Army Service Uniform (ASU) will become an optional, formal and ceremonial uniform.
31 Ιαν 2023 · The Combat Service Identification Badge was introduced by the U.S. Army to replace the Shoulder Sleeve Insignia Former Wartime Service patch that was worn on the Class A uniform. The badge is worn on the U.S. Army Service Uniform, but not on the Army Combat Uniform or the Army Green Service Uniform.
