Jason Gaigeris a Lecturer in the Department of Art History at the Open Uni-versity. He is co-editor ofArt in Theory: 1648–1815(2000) and Art in Theory: 1815–1900 (1998). He is particularly interested in the relation between art and philosophy, and has published numerous papers on art and aesthetics.
