5 Μαρ 2010 · Asa Smith Bushnell, born in Rome, New York, settles in Springfield in 1850. After serving in the Civil War, Bushnell begins to work for a company partially owned by Benjamin Warder, eventually becoming a partner, now the Warder, Bushnell, and Glessner Company in the manufacture of farm implements.
