13 Μαΐ 2024 · The term acute aseptic meningitis syndrome denotes a sudden onset condition characterized by symptoms and signs consistent with a meningitis, an elevated white cell count in the cerebrospinal fluid with negative microbiological studies, followed by a typically spontaneous, rapid, and positive course [1, 2].
