25 Σεπ 2024 · When dealing with aseptic meningitis, it's crucial to balance the need for prompt and effective treatment with cost considerations. While severe cases may require immediate medical attention and more extensive interventions, mild cases might be managed with less costly options.
There are identified risk factors associated with IVIG induced aseptic meningitis. High rate of infusion is most common. Other factors include include high dose of immunoglobulin being infused, patient not well hydrated and a previous history of migraine.

This case report highlights the importance of this diagnosis in order to avoid unnecessary procedures and therapies.
