There are identified risk factors associated with IVIG induced aseptic meningitis. High rate of infusion is most common. Other factors include include high dose of immunoglobulin being infused, patient not well hydrated and a previous history of migraine.

This review summarizes the existing information on immune-related meningitis and the possibility of reintro-ducing immunotherapy after the development of central neurological side efects.
