Effective February 5, 2021, pass the national audiology exam administered by the Educational Testing Service (ETS) Praxis Series 5343 with a minimum score of 162 or Praxis Series 5342 with a minimum score of 170.

Audiology. Audiology applicants who graduated from an audiology training program after January 1, 2008, must hold a doctorate degree in audiology from an educational institution approved the Board. The Board may accept qualifications it deems to be equivalent to a doctoral degree.
The Doctor of Audiology program prepares students to meet the academic and clinical requirements for California licensure in audiology as well as for the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology.
