When to Apply. The 2020 Standards for Certification in Audiology are now in effect. An applicant for the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) applies under the standards that are in effect at the time their application is received by ASHA.
The ABA Certified program seeks to grow, promote, and develop audiologists who can stand out as role models in the field of audiology. In addition, the ABA offers the Pediatric Audiology Specialty Certification ® (PASC) and the Cochlear Implant Specialty Certification ® (CISC) credentials.
Clinical Specialty Certification enables an audiologist or a speech-language pathologist with advanced knowledge, skills, and experience beyond the Certificate of Clinical Competence to be formally identified as a Board Certified Specialist (BCS) in a specific area of clinical practice.

20 Ιουλ 2022 · ASHA-certified audiology and speech-language pathology assistants must abide by the ASHA Code of Conduct. This Code went into effect on June 1, 2020. It is organized much like the Code of Ethics with a Preamble, terminology section, and Principles (with the associated Rules).
