Verification of ASHA certification can now be accomplished online. The online ASHA Certification Verification system is free, and ASHA certificate holders can use it to quickly and easily download and print an official ASHA verification letter for their employers or relevant regulatory agencies.
1 Ιαν 2009 · Initial Licensure Audiology. Applicants for licensure as an audiologist on or after January 1, 2009, must possess: a doctoral degree with an emphasis in audiology or hearing science from an accredited institution; and; possess a current CCC from ASHA; or
Apply for ASHA certification in audiology (CCC-A) any time after you graduate with your AuD from a program accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA).
This letter serves as official verification that the individual named below currently holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Audiology awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and conferred by ASHA’s Council for Clinical Certification in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology.
Verify ASHA Certification Verify the status of an individual's Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) or Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or the status of an individual's assistants certification in audiology (C-AA) or speech-language pathology (C-SLPA).
ASHA certification must be renewed on a yearly basis through payment of annual dues and/or fees. There also is an additional maintenance requirement for completion of 30 hours of professional development activities every three years. ASHA does not issue certification numbers.
