20 Ιουλ 2013 · I play everything 1/2 step down and use 9s although I prefer the heavier bottom sets, but I prefer those in standard tuning. There isn't that great of a difference between standard tuning and 1/2 step down, although I prefer the 52 on low E for Drop D stuff.
