The Data Report Forms posted on the ASME website are provided to the user as a convenience to aid meeting the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code requirements. Users of these forms should keep track of the font and field size when filling in data in order to meet regulatory or customer needs.

The 2023 revisions to the ASME BPV Code and NBIC report forms became mandatory on January 1, 2024. Items manufactured/altered/repaired to the 2023 codes must be documented on the current forms. All data report forms submitted to the National Board for registration on outdated forms will be returned for correction.

28 Σεπ 2015 · Often referred to as the “ birth certificate ” of a pressure vessel or heat exchanger, the data report (U-1 or U-1A, U-3 form) is a document supplied by the manufacturer which describes the specifications, materials used, types of welding employed, etc., for the construction of an ASME certified vessel or heat exchanger.
The COMPRESS forms feature simplifies the creation, submission and management of ASME Manufacturer’s Data Reports and NBIC Repair and Alteration forms. It’s not uncommon for vessels to have multiple shell courses, 35 or more nozzles and flanges all of which need to be properly documented.
