We are located atop Caneel Hill just outside the town of Cruz Bay on St John in the United States Virgin Islands. Currently open seven days a week, we serve dinner from 5:30pm to 9:00pm. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made up to one month in advance by calling 340.779.4747.
10 years ago. We had dinner at Asolare in November, and the food was much improved over my last time there 2 years earlier. There were 3 of us, and we had 2 apps, 3 entrees and 2 desserts, and all were very good. I don't recall what the check came to, but I think it was pretty much in line with other mid-priced places.
14 years ago. Will be on island next month - we've always enjoyed a dinner at Asolare - food and view - but don't know if we should try it again this year. Read all of the posts here about the closing - seems like it is open again but I've read a few reviews which were not favorable.
