2 Αυγ 2011 · whenever i try to install a new game via disk, at some point through the instalation process it comes up with a crc error about a file not matching the settups file. This has happened with Bioshock 2, Prince of Persia Two Thrones and now Assassins creed 2 (see attached)
7 Φεβ 2014 · The error message 0xC000007B typically indicates that the .NET Framework that the game was built with is not installed. A quick google search indicates that Black Flag requires the framework version 4.5.1. This should be installed with the game unless it was cancelled for some reason.
16 Μαρ 2014 · You can do this by right clicking on the game in your Library > Properties > Local Files tab > then clicking on the "Browse Local Files..." button. The game's directory should pop up.
Looked over msinfo32 error reporting and it's giving a faulty application name to the DX10.exe of the game.... Tried some of the listed troubleshoots above and it's the same thing every time, starts to load, stops, play button highlights again.
2 Οκτ 2022 · It turns out the issue is with the detection software that tries to detect your PC hardware requirements. The software can only handle a maximum of 8 processors. If it detects more than this it falls over, crashes and throws a generic memory exception from the DirectX dll.
