21 Οκτ 2012 · While playing the game if you ALT+TAB out then sometimes the game never returns to full screen mode. Also for some of my friends the game never switches to full screen. After some digging with Google I found the following fixes that worked for me and my friends: Fix #1: Simply select the game window and press ALT+Enter This usually works.
Short guide for running AC Origins with DXVK on Windows, on AMD GPUs. With normal, unmodified game, set the Window mode to borderless. Set VSync to either on/off and not adaptive. FPS limit setting in the game is fine - whatever setting you want.
It worked for me (windows 10) and non-steam copy of game. I installed dxwnd (google it) which is a program that lets you run direct x games in window mode (and has a lot of custom settings you can use for size, etc, if you want).
