Download the files. Put the files in your AC1 directory. You load the profile for AC1 into x360ce, and confirm it’s working. You’ll see the controller image responding on screen. After that, You’ll have to then point it to the executable (I think, it’s been a while,) then you can load it from there or start it from Ubi Connect/Epic.
TLDR: I never played video games as a kid, got ac1 on steam the other day. Is there a way for me to configure my controller to play it on PC? Growing….
Hello! I own AC1 for PC through ubisoft connect and would like to use a controller. I have an xbox one x so i have that controller. Is there a way I can use controller on PC for this game? I have tried the file download and add method listed on the steam forum, but no luck. What about AC 2, 3, and brotherhood?

Head over to http://www.x360ce.com/ and download the latest version for 32-bit games, extract it and place the "x360ce" file in your Assassin's Creed/Assassin's Creed II install directory. \steamapps\common\Assassin's Creed.
