20 Σεπ 2021 · My favourite way to do it is to launch the game using Steam's Big Picture Mode. It contains many helpful controller config settings that can trick games into thinking you have a controller they recognise. Here's Steam's Big Picture Mode guide, which describes how to use it.
Solution: - Install microsoft store app: xbox accessories. - make sure device is unpaired and then Link controller to pc via generic usb-c to usb cable (should say setting up device) - open app xbox accessories and update the controller (it will be prompted to do so) and wait for it to end. - disconnect from usb cable.
