If you search on Steam (specifically in the “Guides” section of the community hub) you should find a fix for this titled “Xbox Controller Fix”. I replayed all of the games recently and I needed to find fixes for various things.
I made a shortcut straight to x360ce with the profile loaded into it. I also have it in my AC2 directory with the profile for that game loaded when I play. It’s just easier. You have to run x360ce before the game every time. After that, the controls are the same as on my Xbox.

Anyone still play AC2 on the PC and can help me with configuring an xbox series x controller to play it? I have it plugged in via usb and it doesnt show as an option in the controls. Any help would be appreciated.
