In April of 2017, 20 children died after ingesting a poisonous vape product at the Desert Sun Music Festival in Apple Valley, CA. As a result, festival organizer Tim Heidecker was arrested and charged with 20 counts of second degree murder.

One piece of the story I've been a little confused about is current mistrial status of Tim's manslaughter trial for the Electric Sun Music Festival. Him being let off innocent entirely hinged on the jury going into deadlock due to Toni refusing to vote guilty and the jury being unable to reach a unanimous vote.
