The process to set up an ATT&T account is the same as any other account with one important difference. Sign in to your account using Outlook Web App. For help signing in, see Sign in to Outlook Web App. In Outlook Web App, on the toolbar, select Settings > Mail > POP and IMAP. The POP3, IMAP4, and SMTP server name and other settings you may need to enter are listed on the POP and IMAP settings page.

Next, select “Add Account” from the “Email Accounts” panel to open up this mini window: From here, simply provide your AT&T email address, follow the prompts, and enter the SMTP details to complete the process.
