I have had a job scam within the past week. Had a Skype chat after receiving a email that supposedly was from HR Rep at a company that is legitimate. They sent a check which I was to use for electronic equipment to work from home for data entry/admin position.
Or they'll tell you that you are to use that money to buy home office supplies from a specific shop online, which is actually a phony site they made to take the real money from your account. In both instances, the check they sent bounces and you're out the money you spent/returned to the scammer.
