If your number is being spoofed, blocked, or labeled as potential spam, you will need to select “unwanted calls/texts” as the Phone Issue and then “my own number is being spoofed” as the sub-issue.
8 Φεβ 2024 · A hacker could spoof your home phone number and gain access to your voice mail if you do not set a password. Talk to your phone company about call blocking tools they may have and check into apps that you can download to your mobile device to block unwanted calls.
Sellers and telemarketers: Go to https://telemarketing.donotcall.gov to access the National Do Not Call Registry. Register your phone number to report stop or block unwanted, annoying,telemarketing, spam calls, robocalls to the FTC.
Complaints can be filed online at fcc.gov/complaints. Filing online is the quickest and most effective way to file a complaint. Other options for filing a complaint with the FCC include: Phone: 1-888-CALL-FCC (1-888-225-5322); ASL Video Call: 1-844-432-2275.
