1 Αυγ 2023 · On August 1, 2023, Attorney Gerald Griggs became the President of the Atlanta NAACP after the resignation of President Richard Rose. He became the first person in the history of the Georgia NAACP to serve in the dual role of President of the State Conference and a branch of the Georgia NAACP.
Attorney Griggs formerly served in numerous capacities for the State Conference of the Georgia NAACP including the Chair of the Criminal Justice Committee and the Field Director of District Coordinators.
