The Audio Note AN-K SPe is silver wired internally with very nice silver speaker connections, and like most Audio Note speakers, sounds better when bi-wired. Like its two bigger brothers, the Audio Note AN-K SPe is available in many different wood finishes.
20 Νοε 2022 · The Audio Note (UK) AN-K/SPe loudspeakers are premium high-performance stand-mounted loudspeakers whose highish sensitivity (90dB) allows them to be driven by lower-powered amplifiers of about 7 watts or so. There are four models of the AN-K loudspeakers: the AN-K/D, AN-K/LX, AN-K/SPe (this article), and AN-K/SPx SE.

They are fantastic to listen to music with, of course, but more than that, they've helped me grow as a listener and audio writer. As a listener, the Audio Note (UK) components have ushered in a new era of exploring music for me.
27 Ιαν 2021 · Resolution is excellent - I can hear musical textures and note 'edges'. Imaging is excellent. Soundstage width & depth is mostly between the speakers. I need more time for the both of us to get settled in and more comfortable with each other, but so far I'm very impressed.
22 Απρ 2021 · For this Audio Note review, I took a listen to the AN-K/LX speakers ($4,900) powered by the OTO Phono PP tube integrated amplifier ($5,000), connected with a 2.5m pair of AN-Lexus LX Bi-Wire speaker cables ($2,200). My goal was to hear what kind of experience this turnkey “just add music” system provided.
But yes, the sound is incredible. My entire rig is now Audio Note Kit (Legend power amps, L3 preamp, L3 phono). I noticed what you are referring to about the ‘shhh’ noise with the 12ay7’s – so upgrading that board to the newest version with 12ax7 and 6922 might be a good option
