12 Αυγ 2024 · The Augusta Riverwalk is a multi-level brick trail spanning from 5th to 13th Streets along the banks of the Savannah River and serves as the front porch of our city and one of our most popular parks. If you're looking for a place to stroll or exercise while taking in the fresh air and gorgeous scenery, the Augusta Riverwalk is the place for you.
Between 6th And 10th Sts. Mulitlevel walkways lead beside the Savannah River to museums, parks and gardens. Features include Jessye Norman Amphitheater, playground, fountains, picnic areas and Heroes Overlook Memorial. Historical markers relate Augusta's cultural and natural history.
This is a scenic, peaceful riverwalk along the Savannah River with two bricked levels. We walked down the lower level and then walked back on the upper level. There is plenty of seating along the entire walk (between 6th and 10th streets) to stop if you need to rest or if you just want to soak in the beautiful views.

Riverwalk Augusta (also known as the Augusta Riverwalk) is a city park along the Savannah River in downtown Augusta, in the U.S. state of Georgia. The park is alongside and on top of Augusta's levee. It extends from the 13th Street Bridge to the Gordon Highway bridge.
The Augusta Riverwalk runs in downtown Augusta along the Savannah River from 6th St. to 13th St. Located on two levels (the lower alongside the river, and the upper on the river levee), there are several access points to each.
