Autobiographical memory is defined as a complex blend of self-relevant memories that form a coherent personal narrative, encompassing both general self-information and specific past events, such as episodic-autobiographical memories.

This book provides an overview of the key theoretical and empirical issues relating to autobiographical memory: the extraordinarily complex psychological activity that enables us to retrieve, relive and reappraise our pasts.
