19 Νοε 2017 · I need to convert ACAD dwg file to PDF. It used to work fine until recently. When I do a plot using ACAD to PDF - instead of adobe acrobat, the file was created as acrobat reader. As such, I am not able to set Initial View to Layers.

8 Μαρ 2013 · You should have DWG to PDF plotter in AutoCAD by default. This is very handy if you need to publish your drawing to PDF format, you don’t need to use a separate PDF driver. However, you may find it’s not available for some reason. The ‘plotter’ is a pc3 file stored in your PC.

The AutoCAD DWG to PDF.pc3 is a virtual plotter driver that adds some useful features to the PDFs it creates. For instance, the PDF will have the same layers as the source AutoCAD drawing file. This allows the recipient to turn layers on and off; to view and print them selectively.
