13 Δεκ 2010 · I wore it from 10am to 9:45pm when I got home from work and at that point it was 13 seconds fast. Gained 10 seconds face up non active in 10 hours. Gained 3 seconds actively worn in 12 hours. This same morning I matched my SKX007 to the same clock and left it face up before going about my day.
24 Φεβ 2022 · 7S26 TO 6R35: A LONG STORY CUT SHORT. Seiko’s 7S series mechanical movements include not just 7S26 but also the 7S25, 7S35, 7S36 and 7S55. The only common factors that unite the 7S series movements are they all lack hacking and manual winding and all of them use traditional mainsprings. The 7S26 is around since 1996.
The Seiko caliber 7S26 is an automatic movement used in many popular Seiko divers and the entry level Seiko 5 watches. This movement was first released to the market in 1996. The most recent tech sheets found were dated 2011.
I believe they are rated to be between +45 seconds (fast) to -35 seconds (slow) per day, so it’s just luck if you get anything better than that, because they’re assembled using robots, and there is no manual human intervention made to adjust and regulate them to perform any better before they are sold.
