19 Σεπ 2010 · Try to manually wind the watch in vertical position, if the rotor still spins despite of its weight, there is a defect on the auto winding mechanism.
As you can see in the video, I'm not doing anything. It's very inconsistent when this happens. Sometimes it happens after I shake it to charge the power reserve.
I have a Glycine Combat Sub GL0083 that's been working fine until yesterday. When I tried to manually wind the watch via the crown, it wound normally for 2-3 turns and then became more resistant and I could feel the rotor turn with each wind of the crown from then on.
8 Μαρ 2018 · If you wind the watch by hand a lot, I would not delay in getting it fixed - you are only going to cause more problems by hand winding it. Note that this fault doesn't affect the ability of the watch to wind via the rotor.

27 Μαΐ 2019 · 28800VPH. • 5 yr. ago • Edited 5 yr. ago. The reversing wheels need to be cleaned or swapped out. This is very well known problem with ETAs when I overhaul eta autos I look for this always. I am a watchmaker by trade and you should send it back to tag. It’s a easy fix.
