In this video I am showing how to replace a rotor bearing in two watch movements - the ETA 2892-A2 movement (on an Omega Dynamic watch). And a Valjoux 7750 movement (on an Ikepod watch).
19 Σεπ 2010 · It's a simple repair. Remove the 1 screw holding the rotor. Manually manipulate the reversing wheel until it engages in the slot. With fine tweezers remove any debris. Try winding without the rotor fitted. If all good replace the rotor and reassemble.

As you can see in the video, I'm not doing anything. It's very inconsistent when this happens. Sometimes it happens after I shake it to charge the power reserve. Video of the front: https://streamable.com/wwenxk.
When I tried to manually wind the watch via the crown, it wound normally for 2-3 turns and then became more resistant and I could feel the rotor turn with each wind of the crown from then on. Does anyone have any insight to what's going on?
