Join us on Sunday, October 31st from 4 to 6 PM on WRTI 90.1 to hear resident artists from Philadelphia’s own Academy of Vocal Arts (AVA) compete against each other in song. For over 40 years, the Giargiari Bel Canto opera competition has showcased the brightest of up-and-coming opera stars.
The Academy of Vocal Arts (AVA) is a private, post-baccalaureate opera school in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As of 2023, the AVA does not grant degrees, but rather Artist Diplomas to those who complete the full four year course requirement.
