The default IP address for Axis cameras and other Axis security devices is 192.168.0.90 with subnet mask 255.255.255.0. The camera is activated during the first run and it requires you to create a default password.
The default IP address for AXIS cameras is 192.168.0.90, but it may obtain an IP from your router. Take note of the camera’s IP address for the next steps. Step 5: Accessing the Web Interface. Launch a web browser and enter the camera’s IP address. Remember, the default username is “root,” not “admin” as with other cameras.
Only devices with old AXIS OS versions have a default username and password: Username: root. Password: pass. In later versions, you set the password for the default administrator account the first time you access the device through its web interface.
Enter the username and password. If you access the device for the first time, you must set the root password. See Set a new password for the root account. The live view page opens in your browser.
