The Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) Basic RiderCourse 2-License Waiver (BRC2-License Waiver) is a unique riding curriculum offered through the New York State Motorcycle Safety Program (NYSMSP) and qualifies as a New York DMV License Testing Waiver.
Professional training prepares beginning and experienced riders for traffic situations in the real world. Motorcycle RiderCourses® teach and improve such skills as: Effective turning. Braking maneuvers. Protective apparel selection. Obstacle avoidance. Traffic strategies. Maintenance
MSF Basic RiderCourse. Get trained, get licensed. The FAST TRACK to motorcycle licensing! This 2-day licensing course helps students learn skills such as straight-line riding, shifting, turning, swerving and stopping (including making quick stops). Motorcycles are provided.
The Basic RiderCourse (BRC) consists of: A 5-hour on-line eCourse that you complete on your own. At least 11 hours of hands-on riding instruction. It is so complete that it has been recognized by the New York State DMV as an option to the on-street Motorcycle Road Test.

The MSF Basic RiderCourse – 3-Wheel is designed for license-aged novice riders, but experienced riders can benefit too. eCourse helps you with learn-to-ride exercises in a controlled, off-street environment. Motorcycles are usually provided free of charge for your use during the course.
