Since the azure flute was never released, Pksm will ask if you want to continue. Press A and you will see a page with at the held item the name "Azure Flute". Even though you will see that it has moves, you shouldn't worry about it.
You need to beat Legend Arceus to get the Azure flute in BDSP. To catch Arceus and gain access to the Azure Flute, you need to have a completed main story save file of Pokémon Legends: Arceus on your Nintendo Switch that you’re playing Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl on.
