I hate live theatre but Backbeat was the only show I’ve ever enjoyed. After the show, the actors came out and played an early Beatles Cavern concert. It was great.
Backbeat (1994) Recommendation. I wouldn't call it amazing, or anything, but it's an entertaining and fun little film. Very good performances, especially by Stephen Dorff and Ian Hart. Even though the actors might not look or sound exactly like the real Beatles, you still buy it. Paul and George are instantly recognizable.

Backbeat was a really fun movie. (That Grohl et al appeared on its soundtrack is news to me!) The second one could be their rise to the top and the third could be the break-up and fall out.
