Many spells besides those I've mentioned synergize with a Bag of Holding, especially ones that can be used for infiltration or transportation, or that have targeting restrictions. For example, you can cast Gaseous Form while other party members sit inside your Bag to smuggle them through cracks.
28 Απρ 2011 · The problem is: You won't have the space/strength to carry many spellbooks. Also, writing a spell requires 24 hours (12 hours if your just copying from your own book). If you put your books into Bag of Holdings, anyone can slice your Bag and you lost your spellbooks. This won't be what you want.
22 Ιαν 2019 · It is 10 feet from where you cast the spell, not 10 feet relative to something else such as a Bag of Holding that is nearby. Let's use casting it on a book for an example. If you cast it on a book, and the book moves 10 feet from where you cast it, it ends.
15 Ιουν 2017 · Simpler question first: the Bag of Holding is listed in the DMG page 153, as a "Wondrous item, uncommon". Wondrous item is its general category (as opposed to, say, armor or wand). The reason you can't find an exact price is there isn't one.
The bag of holding opens into a nondimensional space: Its inside is larger than its outside dimensions. Regardless of what is put into the bag, it weighs a fixed amount. This weight, and the limits in weight and volume of the bag's contents, depend on the bag's type, as shown on the table below.
Placing a bag of holding inside an extradimensional space created by a handy haversack, portable hole, or similar item instantly destroys both items and opens a gate to the Astral Plane. The gate originates where the one item was placed inside the other.
