20 Φεβ 2019 · The Bagnell Dam Strip in Lake of the Ozarks is a tourist haven with shops, activities, and great food for the whole family. Even if you want to spend most of your vacation time on the water, you'll want to plan a few hours to explore the historic Strip.
From arcade games to water activities, you will find it here. Many of the Lake of the Ozarks events begin or take place on The Strip as well, and Hot Summer Nights on the 2nd weekend of every month in the summer are a motor enthusiasts heaven.
While not nearly as impressive as Hoover dam or others, Bagnell dam is surely worth visiting both for the architectural might it represents, the impact it had on the country-side by creating that massive Lake Ozark and the often wonderful, undulating country roads in Missouri.

Going to Bagnell Dam is a must. The views are wonderful. Looking at the 3-5’ fish swimming at the dam’s base is fun. And the museum is very good. More information than you can imagine.
