Basic pay for an O-7 to O-10 is limited by Level II of the Executive Schedule which is $14,975.10. Basic pay for O-6 and below is limited by Level V of the Executive Schedule which is $12,141.60.
BAH is an allowance meant to offset costs for a servicemember's housing. It is based on geographic duty location, pay grade, and dependency status. The allowance amount is linked to housing costs in local civilian housing markets within the U.S. when government quarters are not provided.
Manual (AFMAN) applies to all uniformed members of the Regular Air Force, Air Force Reserve, Air National Guard, and civilian personnel performing duties associated with processing of military pay affecting documents for those serving in an active duty status.
1.9 Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) Waiting List. The BAH waiting list consists of airmen who have notified UPH Management of their desire to reside off base.
