3 Απρ 2014 · Travel Missouri: Bakersville Village and Baker Creek Seed Company. In the middle of nowhere is Missouri's oldest and longest lasting homestead. But it's more than a farm, it's a whole village. Best of all, admission is free! I have a thing about little-out-of-the-way places where nobody goes.
Gorgeous sunflowers welcomed us just outside the farm. We parked, and walked about 100 feet or so to the village entrance. Once we passed under the big “Bakersville” sign, I felt like we’d been transported to the TV version Walnut Grove, but much prettier because colorful flowers are everywhere.
