The bald eagle occurs in marshes, swamps, and river systems throughout Ohio. Eagles have continued to recover from a low of 4 breeding pairs in 1979. In 2020, the statewide nest census documented 707 nests throughout the state of Ohio.
Endangered mussels, state-listed wildflowers, and loads of resident and migratory birds cover this 120-acre nature preserve inside the City of Cincinnati. This preserve is also where our eagles Bonnie & Clyde have built their nest – allowing us to capture and study them through our cameras.
