The Manual they give you in the new kit is first class and better than the 2 pages of instructions included with the original. Will be spending a day or two reading the instructions, studying the plans, and figuring out how to convert it to electric and still keep it around 4 lbs.
29 Οκτ 2016 · The new rendition of Balsa USA's Smoothie caught my eye and I was hooked. Bought the kit from a fellow RCU member and then bought all the accessories. It will be powered by a Syssa 30 cc gas engine. has 5 in Dave Brown P 51 spinner.
15 Νοε 2016 · #1: Finished installing all the cross-bracing. This is over and above what called for on the plans. I'm just an IMAC guy and wanted the extra rigidity. There was some play in the tail, a perfectly normal amount, not implying it's weak at all, and these few grams of added weight completely eliminated it.
10 Απρ 2019 · I start all my builds by making a copy of the plans to place on a board above my Build table for reference during the Build. I then cover the plans with wax paper and re-read the instructions. The plans that came with this kit are very detailed and easy to understand.
