  1. As someone who has done both (Bar Method for about 4 months and PB for the past year now) I find Bar Method to be significantly easier and slower paced. There are pros and cons to both, but I am officially hooked on PB and think it's overall a much higher quality workout.

  3. I found Bar Method to be overall easier than PB but still challenging. The seat work was a lot shorter than in PB. The instructors calling people out by name wasn’t nearly as intimidating as I expected based on what I’ve heard. It seemed like we did more stretching at Bar Method which felt very nice.

  4. Try both! I prefer The Bar Method, as it was my first barre studio experience - and the studio is 3 minutes from my home. However, when my studio was temporarily closed, I took about 15 PB Classic classes. I do think PB is best for ab work, and has a more athletic vibe, even in the Classic classes.

  6. 3 Απρ 2015 · My Thoughts: Pure Barre is the class I recommend if you're looking to work out your lower body. Although they do incorporate an upper body workout, they're very much into working your abs, glutes, and legs.
