  5. 26 Φεβ 2024 · We will be making history at this event. The 1st Illinois Light Artillery Battery D fired 72 rounds with their four 24 Pdr. Field Howitzers at Raymond in May of 1863. We will fire round No. 73 on April 13th on the battlefield with a 24 Pdr. Field Howitzer. You too can be a part of history by firing that 73rd round.
