10 Ιαν 2024 · Battleship Mountain is one of my new favorite hikes in the Superstition Mountains. It is HARD, but it is so rewarding. The beginning of the hike is fine, but once you actually climb up the spine of Battleship Mountain, you’re in for a challenge.
Try this 11.3-mile out-and-back trail near Roosevelt, Arizona. Generally considered a challenging route. This is a very popular area for backpacking, camping, and hiking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are October through April.
