The files you are looking for are the keyboard.map and mouse.map files, I believe the game pulls from each depending upon which option you choose in game. So modify the .map files yourself, then select your input device of choice in game (under cockpit controls, hit escape key to bring up menu).
The .CUE file contains all of the amazing music for the game, it is a must. If done correctly it should import all of the game's mech models. Click the top left tab labeled "Play Game" and you should now see different versions of the game.
I have been working on a full list of mechs (since the online spreadsheet has not been updated for 1.9) which indicates the "base game" mechs for campaign scoring and the SDLF mechs with engine double heat sinks for pure awesomeness. Corrections? Thanks in advance.
