This is the highest rate and should be used for all boring insects. The amount of water that is used will vary depending on soil conditions and volumes that are easy for applicators to use.

Merit 75WSP Imidacloprid Insecticide provides the industry’s longest-lasting grub control at exceptionally low use rates. This product gives outstanding residual control of numerous ornamental pests – it interferes with nerve impulses and disrupts insect behavior.
Merit 75 water soluble packet (WSP) is a liquid insecticide concentrate which can be used at very low rates and applied as a foliar spray, soil broadcast spray, soil injection or soil drench to control grubs, weevils, and other soil and turf inhabiting pests.
To calculate the higher rate range for multiple trees, add the DBH of the trees together and divide by rate to be applied. Example of multiple trees using similar rate of 12 (y): 3 trees with DBH of 15, 20, & 25 inches. Total cumulative inches of DBH is 60 (x). (60/12) * 1.6 oz (1 packet) = 8 oz for all three trees.
14 Οκτ 2010 · Merit WP is a 2 oz jar which works well for small jobs and Merit WSP is an envelope that comes with 4 water soluble packets for larger larger jobs. You will need to know the height of each holly shrub and you will use 0.7 to 1.4 level teaspoons per foot of shrub height.
