Hey everyone, I recently started getting into making drag builds and had questions about gear tuning; is there a certain gear pattern that works universally for most cars? I’m trying to build them for acceleration and grip as opposed to top speed. Thanks!
20 Ιαν 2022 · You should be able to trap around 180-190mph and run solid 7's. Work on matching your target trap speed with 4th gear by playing with final drive and gear ratios... Then work on getting the car to hook and book to get that speed to happen in the quarter. 3. Reply.
