Wildy slayer is unmatched, free supplies (blighted restores/mantas/anglers), almost every task is cannon-able or barrage-able, the new wildy weapons give crazy combat exp/hr, and the ammount of points earned per task allows you to skip very frequently, you can basically pick your tasks once you have a slayer point bank built up.
You can do both. Completing a hard clue? Just bring 3 items and thank your pker for the teleport. Opening 10 larrans keys? You’ll get like >1m in loot easily so it’s worth gearing up in some beefy gear to survive, and hover logout.
The PKer can't get your cannon if it's already set up. Lengthy boss tasks are available. Bears = Callisto, Scorpions = Scorpia, Skeletons = Vet'ion, Spiders = Venenatis. I'd recommend taking Verac's for Venenatis and Callisto, as their defence is so high that the Slayer helm isn't ideal.
Bears can be assigned as a slayer task at level 13 combat by various low-level Slayer masters. Bears can be found in various locations throughout Gielinor. Black bears, bear cubs, grizzly bears, grizzly bear cubs, reanimated bears, and Callisto can all be killed to satisfy the task.
